High Point Elementary School was designed to expand the existing 850 FTE School to its full core capacity. The new wing was developed specifically for kindergarten, first and second graders. Also included are support areas and a new gang restroom on both levels. An elevator was installed to allow handicapped accessibility to all levels. The transition between the existing building and the new addition was artfully tucked behind the existing school while utilizing the existing school’s traffic patterns. Time being of essence, the addition was designed as a total pre-cast system with replication of the existing schools brick proportions.
